At Fields Quarter Horses, we understand that every mare is an individual and a vital part of your breeding program. From the thoughtful design of our Mare/Foal areas to managing your mare’s daily care; we are proud to offer exceptional standards of care at a value for mare owners .  Our staff is experienced, caring and dedicated to providing outstanding service.
We tailor our care to meet the individual needs of every mare including:
Daily turnout- private or small groups
Blanketing as needed
Customized, timed lighting for every stall
Comfortable, safe, spacious lodging
Balanced feeding and forage plan
Foals handled, haltered, and led daily for no extra fee

Mare Care: $15/dry or open $18/day wet

Advanced Breeding Services
We are pleased to offer a comprehensive team of industry professionals to supervise the breeding management of every mare.  Our on-farm veterinarian team includes Dr. Donna Mather, Union Kentucky and Dr. Bruce Howard, Rood & Riddle Equine, Lexington Kentucky. Additionally, we utilize the Reproductive/Therionology Department of Rood & Riddle and the expertise of Dr. Pete Sheerin.  Our on-farm staff will facilitate the veterinarian team in managing your mare's reproductive health and offers years of hands-on valuable experience in equine management, broodmare care, and assisted foaling services.

Foaling Services
As members of the AQHA 4aHorse Breeders Program, we offer skilled mid-wife assistance to foaling mares by thoughtful, dedicated horse people.
Our foaling protocols include:

• Attended Foaling Services provided by knowledgeable staff
  
• Veterinarian Assistance available day and night
  
• Complete On-Site Monitoring with Webcams and on-farm attendants
• Post partum Mare and Foal Well-Being Checks provided
  
• IGG Serum blood tests
  
• Cholostrum Bank and Plasma stored on site

For our clients in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio, we are pleased to offer:

• Full Care Boarding in clean, spacious, fully matted stalls with daily turnout and exceptional care.
  
• Riding lessons- Private or Group- Western or English. We offer reasonably priced riding lessons taught by accredited instructors on safe, talented, quality horses.
